Welcome to the RGS Worcester and Alice Ottley School Alumni Network. By registering with us, you will be able to reconnect with old friends and colleagues, and keep in touch with the School and Foundation.
The site can be used for sharing stories, good news, and updates, and for finding out about events happening at the School, class reunions, and sporting fixtures.
You will also be able to keep in touch with the Foundation Office and find out about our fundraising initiatives and how our alumni community is helping current RGS pupils.
The core aim of the Foundation's charitable objectives is to provide funds to the School in order to provide financial support for pupils and families experiencing economic hardship, or who would otherwise be unable to afford an RGS education.
RGS has a long and proud history of providing an excellent education to talented pupils, regardless of their financial backgrounds. This began in 1626 when Alderman Thomas Moore bequeathed an annual income of £40.6s.8d to the School to support “the bringing up of ten poor children, all male children, lawfully begotten, whose parents are destitute of abilities and means to give them necessary food and raiment, much less to give them education fit for Christians”.
